Inaugurated in 1957, Khandoli is a famous center of adventure sports in Jharkhand. It is located approx 10 KM from Giridih. It is operated and managed by Damodar Valley Corporation. The hill, the dam, and the green landscape lure thousands of migratory birds each year. Tourists from different parts of the country visit Khandoli for bird watching and to take part in various adventure sports, Mountaineering, Horse riding & Boat cruising. Jharkhand has only a few centers where all kinds of adventure sports, i.e air, water, and sky based are available in one place and Khandoli is one of them. It is a one-stop destination for both nature and adventure lovers.
